Google HUD glasses to be on sale this year-Review

By the end of this year,Terminator style glassess will be launched by google to the public.

Google will release the much expected heads-up display (HUD) glasses by the year end,according to a New York Times report.

HUD glasses are said to feature a low-resolution camera that overlays relevant information on real-world objects in your field of vision. This augmented reality trickery will be made possible with motion and GPS sensors mated to smartphone-grade hardware and fed with 3G or 4G internet connectivity.
The New York Times reports that the HUD glasses will also have a 3G or 4G data connection and motion and GPS sensors. They will also use Google's software products, such as Google Latitude, Google Goggles and Google Maps.
The prototype apparently resembles Oakley's Thump glasses but functions much more like a smartphone than reading spectacles. According to 9to5Google, the glasses will be Android-based and have the capability to tap into Google's cloud-based location services and detail users' surroundings. This information will then appear as an augmented reality computer display.A heads up display would likely integrate Google Goggles, Google Voice Search, Local Search, some iteration of OCR technology and, of course, a camera.

Access to Local Reviews: Users could now quickly find a new restaurant that’s algorithmically weighted based on GPS coordinates, your restaurant preferences, reviews of people in a Google Circle, and overall community reviews. This would also be an extremely logical place to integrate Zagat, which Google acquired in September for $151 million.

Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary

Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary is a first-person shooter video game set in the Halo universe and is an enhanced remake of Halo: Combat Evolved. Microsoft announced the game along with Halo 4 at their Electronic Entertainment Expo 2011 press conference. The game reached gold status on October 15, 2011, and was released a month later, on November 15, 2011, the 10th anniversary of the original title's launch.

Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary is the first game in the Halo series to be developed by 343 Industries. The game features several updates to the original title, including a complete visual overhaul, support for cooperative and multiplayer gameplay on the Xbox Live online service, remakes of several multiplayer maps from previous Halo games, and extras that do not affect gameplay such as achievements, terminals, and other hidden easter eggs. The original game engine was replaced by the Saber3d engine in campaign mode and the Halo: Reach engine in multiplayer. The game is the first in the series to include Kinect support.

As a first-person shooter, Halo: Combat Evolved has a gameplay fundamentally similar to that of its peers, focusing on combat in a 3D environment, and taking place almost entirely from a character's eye view. The player can move around and look up, down, left or right. The game features vehicles, ranging from armored jeeps and tanks to alien hovercraft and aircraft, many of which can be controlled by the player. The game switches to the third-person perspective during vehicle use for pilots and mounted gun operators; passengers maintain a first-person view.
The player character is equipped with a damage-absorbing energy shield, in addition to hit points. Halo's arsenal consists of weapons from science fiction. The game has been praised for giving each weapon a unique purpose, thus making them useful in different scenarios.For example, plasma weapons need time to cool if fired too rapidly, but cannot be reloaded and must be discarded upon depletion of battery. In contrast, conventional firearms cannot overheat, but require reloading and ammunition. Players may carry only two weapons at once; thus, a strategy is required when using and selecting firearms.

Halo departs from traditional FPS conventions by not forcing the player character to holster their firearm before deploying grenades or melee-range blunt instruments; instead, both attacks can be utilized while a gun is still equipped, supplanting or supplementing small-arms fire. All weapons may be used to bludgeon enemies, which allows the Master Chief to silently kill opponents without alerting other nearby enemies.The Chief can also carry up to eight grenades at a time: four fragmentation and four plasma grenades each. Like the game's other weapons, the two types of grenades differ; the fragmentation grenade bounces and detonates quickly, whereas the plasma grenade adheres to targets before exploding, sometimes with blackly comic results.

Max Payne 3

Max Payne 3 is an upcoming video game sequel in the Max Payne franchise published by Rockstar Games for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Development is led by Rockstar Vancouver in collaboration with the New England, London and Toronto studios. This is the first game in the series not to be developed by Finnish game developer Remedy Entertainment and not being written by series creator Sam Lake. The lead writer of Max Payne 3 is Dan Houser, who was also the writer of most games in the Grand Theft Auto series, and of Red Dead Redemption.
GAMEPLAY

Max Payne 3 is a third-person shooter in which the player assumes the role of its titular character, Max Payne. Max Payne 3 will feature the over-the-shoulder zoom aiming and cover mechanics. However, these will just serve as garnish to the game's classic run-and-gun shooting. Max Payne 3 will also make return of bullet-time in action sequences, which the franchise is notable for. In bullet time it will be possible to see every bullet make a hole in your foes. A "Last Man Standing" mechanic, which gives Max a reprieve from death for a small period if he has one painkiller on him. If the player is able to kill the enemy that delivered the wounding shot with bullets he'll recover enough energy to soldier on.

Max Payne 3 retains the shoot-dodge mechanic from the previous games. Max will also be able to stay grounded after a dive, which enables him to shoot 360 degrees around. Rockstar has blended physics and animation, so that when Max dives around, he does so appropriately according to his surroundings. Through advanced utilization of the Euphoria physics engine, shooting and killing enemies in Max Payne 3 will look noticeably more realistic than in any preceding Rockstar games as well.

New to the series are cinematic action movements, essentially interactive cut-scenes. Max must for example leap off a factory balcony, grab hold of a crane's hook and shoot at a crowd of thugs while swinging around in slo-mo. Should a thug get too close, Max can throw a few elbows and feet around to disarm and kill them in one crunching blow.

Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City

Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City is an upcoming 2012 third-person shooter video game for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, co-developed by Slant Six Games and Capcom, and currently scheduled for a release in North America on the 20th of March 2012, on April 26, 2012 in Japan, March 22, 2012 in Australia and March 23, 2012 in Europe. It is part of the Resident Evil series, being set around the same time as Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 3: Nemesis and the two Resident Evil: Outbreak titles.
The game takes place during the events of Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3: Nemesis, and is set in Raccoon City, whose residents have been turned into zombies after an outbreak of the T-virus, a biological weapon developed by the pharmaceutical company Umbrella. Players will take the role of an officer of the Umbrella Security Service (USS). They have a vastly different objective compared to the Spec Ops opposition: members of the USS are tasked with destroying evidence of Umbrella's illegal activities, including killing survivors of the outbreak, while the Special Operations team has to expose the actions of the company.Operation Raccoon City will allow the player to make major "what-if" decisions such as killing Leon S. Kennedy, one of the protagonists of Resident Evil 2 and the protagonist of Resident Evil 4.


GAMEPLAY
There are six playable characters in the game: Vector, Beltway, Spectre, Four Eyes, Lupo and Bertha. Each have their own unique abilities: Vector (real name unknown) is the team's recon expert and is equipped with a cloaking ability; Beltway (real name Hector Hivers) is proficient in the use of explosives; Bertha (real name Michaela Schneider) is the team's medic; Spectre (real name Vladimir Bodrovski) is the team's surveillance class and sharpshooter; Four Eyes (real name Christine Yamata) is the scientist of the group with the ability to program the bio-organic weapons (BOWs); and Lupo (real name Karena Lesproux), who is an Assault class/Team Leader as shown in a recent trailer. Alongside the Single Player Mode, the game will also offer four-player co-operative gameplay, which pits the USS against the US Special Operations task force.

The zombies in the game will be able to attack the player in a multitude of ways. A zombie that gets too close to the player will usually attempt to grapple the player, prompting the player to rapidly shake his analogue stick to avoid infection. Players who are unsuccessful in doing this will be "invisible" to nearby zombies for a limited amount of time whilst they are infected before their death in the game. If a player is successfully bitten and later runs out of time after becoming infected, the player will lose control of their character and begin attacking their former teammates until shot in the head, allowing the player to respawn.

The game also utilizes a bleeding mechanic, meaning characters who have been badly wounded will be deemed "bleeding out", giving their screen a blood red hue and making them a higher priority target to nearby infected than the others.

There will be additional enemy types in the game besides zombies. BOWs that can be confirmed from E3 are Hunters, Lickers and Tyrants. Furthermore, the player will be able to control them under certain circumstances.

In December 2011, Capcom unveiled "Heroes Mode", an online multiplayer feature allowing you to play classic hero characters such as Leon S. Kennedy, Claire Redfield, Jill Valentine and Carlos Oliveira, plus the villains Ada Wong, HUNK, Nicholai Ginovaef and an all-new character, called Lone Wolf.

How to Create a secret partition on a pen drive

To do this, all you need is a simple universal USB pen drive driver, which can be downloaded from http://www.mediafire.com/?oqlgdvcymzz. Download the archive, uncompress it to a folder on your desktop and get started. Don’t forget to backup the contents of your pen drive, as it will format it.

Alan Wake To Land On PC

Remedy has announced that the PC version of Alan Wake will finally be released in February. Unlike the Xbox 360 version though, it will be published directly by the Finnish developer.

The game will be available via Steam, implying that it won't bear the Games For Windows - LIVE tag. Announced in 2005, Alan Wake was to be launched on both the X360 and Windows Vista. However, 2010 saw only the Xbox release, with Remedy hinting that the PC version wouldn't surface any time soon. Now after a long wait, gamers will be able to control Alan with a keyboard and mouse. According to the developers, the PC version will also include extra downloadable content, such as additional episodes.
Almost two years after its Xbox 360 debut, Alan Wake has finally made it to the PCs. As reported before, the game is available only via Steam.
The title is available for $30 (approx Rs 1500), and its download size is under 8 GB. Those buying it before the 23rd will also get download access to the Collector's Edition.
